Provided image/Chelan CountyA Chicago developer submitted last week a subdivision application to remove about 20 acres of a commercial cherry orchard outside Entiat and replace it with 27 residential lots.
The proposed project, named Cherry Point Estates, is located off Highway 97A, about 7 miles south of Entiat. An estimated 70 people would live on "residential parcels in the middle- and high-income level," according to the applicant's submission.
