Douglas County to cut ribbon on McNeil Canyon Road Realignment project

McNeil Canyon Road

McNeil Canyon Road is open once again after it underwent a months-long safety project to re-route a section of the roadway north of the existing alignment.

The public was invited to a ribbon-cutting on Wednesday to recognize the milestone and collaboration that made the project possible, a county news release said. The McNeil Canyon Road Realignment Project cost $4.4 million and was funded in partnership with the County Road Administration Board’s Rural Arterial Program.
