The Union Valley Fire near Chelan burned about 20 acres Tuesday.

CHELAN — Investigators are asking for the public’s help to determine the cause of the Union Valley Fire that prompted evacuations this week and burned outbuildings.

When crews arrived Tuesday afternoon at Union Valley north of Chelan there were six or seven small fires burning, said Chief Brandon Asher with Chelan Fire and Rescue on Thursday.
