Washington State Apple Blossom top 10 royalty candidates hug each other after their names are announced during a ceremony Wednesday night at the Numerica Performing Arts Center. The 10 finalists have a busy month ahead of them before the 2020 Royalty Selection Pageant on Saturday, Feb. 8. They will be interviewed, tour local businesses, prepare a speech and take etiquette lessons. Tickets for the pageant go on sale Monday, Jan. 13 at the Festival Office, 2 S. Chelan Ave. and online at appleblossom.org. The winning candidates — a queen and two princesses — will be awarded scholarships of $10,000 and $5,000.
