Fernando Ramos on Tuesday pulls peach flowers off of a tree as he and a crew blossom-thin 8 acres along Northwest Cascade Avenue. The orchard is owned by Bob and Karen Rodgers of First Fruits. Thinning helps produce bigger fruit.
