WENATCHEE — Judging for the 2019 Wenatchee Wine & Food Festival Wine Competition took place Wednesday.
Three panels of judges graded the 232 entries submitted for this year’s judging. The day-long tasting is coordinated by Foothills Magazine, with assistance from Great Northwest Wine.
All wineries with a production facility or tasting room in North Central Washington were invited to submit entries for the contest, which is in its eighth year. It is the largest wine judging in the region.
More than 30 wineries submitted entries. Complete results will be published in the September-October issue of Foothills Magazine.
Many of the award-winning wines will be poured at the Wenatchee Wine & Food Festival Aug. 24 at the Town Toyota Center. Tickets are available at wenatcheewineandfood.com.
