'Sentimental Journey' gets distressed in Wenatchee Valley

The B-17G Flying Fortress “Sentimental Journey” bomber sits on the tarmac of Pangborn Memorial Airport on Tuesday.

Update: EAST WENATCHEE — World War II aircraft Sentimental Journey's tour in the Wenatchee Valley was cut short after some mechanical problems were found.

The Commemorative Air Force provided a statement on its website:

A deactiviated .50 caliber machine gun is mounted inside the B-17G Flying Fortress “Sentimental Journey” bomber.
