WENATCHEE — The city of Wenatchee and Chelan County PUD are holding an open house on Sept. 28 at Pybus Public Market to gather feedback on designs for Riverfront Park.
The open house will be split into two sessions — 8 to 10 a.m. and noon to 3 p.m. — and refreshments will be provided. This is the second in-person open house the city and PUD have held regarding plans for the park.
The entities are estimated to spend $3 million during the first phase of park improvements, which may include landscaping, parking, play areas and improved river viewpoints. Planning is scheduled to finish this year, with improvements slated to begin in 2022.
