WENATCHEE — The Waste Management transfer station on South Wenatchee Avenue reopened Thursday after being closed two months for repairs.

The station was damaged by a small fire in early August. Repairs have been made and the station will now operate on its normal schedule, according to a Thursday Waste Management press release.

The public was granted special access to the Greater Wenatchee Landfill during the closure. That access will end Tuesday, according to the release.
