CHELAN — Residents can give input on a proposed bicycle pump track that could be added to Don Morse Park’s existing skate park.

The city and American Ramp Co. are holding a public meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday on the second floor of the Chelan Public Library, 216 N. Emerson St.

City Council last month entered into a $7,500 contract with the Joplin, Missouri-based American Ramp Co. for a design and feasibility study, expected to be completed by September.

The study will determine whether Don Morse Park is the proper location for the pump track, how much the track would cost, possible funding sources and options for also improving the skate park.
