parallel parking at Washington park

The current parallel parking format at Washington Park on the Wilson Street side.

WENATCHEE — The city of Wenatchee will add 8-10 angled parking spaces and repair sidewalks at Washington Park.

In his report to the city council on Thursday, Parks, Recreation and Cultural Services Department Director David Erikson said the angled parking will replace the current parallel parking along the Wilson Street side of the park to increase parking capacity and lessen the impact on parking in the surrounding neighborhood. More spaces could be added after more examinations by city engineers.
