Kid Scoop

Kid Scoop is an award-winning NIE page, which appears in the Thursday edition of the Wenatchee World.

Kid Scoop and The Wenatchee World combine to create a standards-based educational program that engages students by connecting the dots between content, activities, and national standards that fuel the desire for children to learn through the written word. This ready-to-go NIE page is packed with NIE lessons that are designed to get kids exploring the newspaper and their world. Kid Scoop provides teachers with ongoing training on the many ways to use all parts of the newspaper. Check out the NIE Lesson Library at www.kidscoop.com. Suggested for the elementary grades.

What an amazing year for World's Best! This competition has never been as competitive as it was for 2021! The community known competition saw more than 13,000 nominations in round 1 which made up more than 2,300 businesses, people, and places across our community.
