Peggy Marlene Duncan
Loving mother and grandmother, Peggy Marlene Duncan, of Wenatchee, WA, went to the heavens to be with her eldest son, Ken, on May 10, 2019. She was born in Terrebonne, OR, on February 5, 1939, to Jim and Wilma Mallery. She moved to Wenatchee, WA, when she was five, and attended local schools. She met Darrell Wayne Duncan in 1953, and then wed in 1956, and had three children.
She was a homemaker and loved to crochet. Her specialty was afghans and beautiful southern bell dolls. She divorced in 1989, and then started working in the fruit processing industry and later, retired from Tree Top.
She is survived by her daughter, Tammie Ochoa of Yreka, CA; her son, Vince Duncan of Wenatchee, WA; four grandchildren: Mindy Duncan of East Wenatchee, WA, Angela Braffith of Stockton, CA, Adam Ochoa and Adrian Ochoa of Eureka, CA; six great-grandchildren: Dylan Duncan of East Wenatchee, WA, Jose, Brianna, Dieago, and Tony Villalon. Angelina Ochoa, all of California; also, her lifelong best friend, Gail Marie Haney of Wenatchee, WA. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents; and her son, Ken Duncan.
At her request there will be no services. There will be a private family gathering at a later date. Jones & Jones-Betts Funeral Home, Wenatchee, WA, is assisting the family with arrangements.
