WATERVILLE — Shockers volleyball coach Melissa Flaget, her coaching staff, and members of the Waterville School District on Oct. 12 put together a “Dig Pink Night” for Waterville/Mansfield’s contest against Central Washington 2B League heavyweight Tonasket.

BREWSTER — The last time the Waterville/Mansfield volleyball team played the Brewster Bears, Shockers coach Melissa Flaget was displeased at the way her team played. In that match, Waterville/Mansfield mustered just 18 points against one of the best teams in the Central Washington 2B League. In terms of execution and effort, the Shockers did not show up.

WATERVILLE — First-year head coach Melissa Flaget hopes to bring renewed consistency to the Shockers volleyball program, which struggled to a 4-12 record last season. A senior-heavy Waterville squad shocked the region with a surprise run to the 2B state tournament in 2015, earning a stunning upset of undefeated Warden in the district championship game.
