BREWSTER — Three days previously, the Brewster High School softball team lost the district championship to Okanogan. Friday night, on their home field, Brewster had one more shot in a loser-out district game against Oroville.

The Bears (17-6) beat Oroville (14-7) once already during the regular season but the Hornets making it this far was a bit unlikely. They came into the district tournament as the lowest seed and had to collect three upsets to make Friday’s game.
