SUNNYSIDE — Eastmont was on an eight-game win streak earlier this month before it was interrupted in a tough match against West Valley. But already, the Wildcats have bounced back, earning their third win in a row Saturday.

Eastmont beat Sunnyside 9-nil.

“This was our fourth shutout of the season and I think our defense and keeper did a great job,” Eastmont Head Coach Vidal Hurtado said after the win.

Four Wildcats scored in the game, two of which earned hat-tricks. All were bolstered by quality ball movement.

“It went well,” Hurtado said. “We got everyone minutes, and found a lot of opportunities.”

Kendall Flanagan finished with four goals. Paige Fischer was close behind with a hat-trick. Sophie Kalkowski and Annelise Bauman capped the afternoon with a goal apiece.

“There was a lot of action in the final third of the field and we were able to convert,” Hurtado said.

This brings Eastmont’s record to (11-1).
