Cynthia "Cindy" Reymond, 55, of Wenatchee, WA, passed away January 18, 2011. She was born to Troy and Lenit (Layton) Cheney and was a lifetime resident of Wenatchee and member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, where she sang in the choir with her mother and four sisters. Cindy attended Lincoln, Pioneer and Wenatchee High Schools. She enjoyed Brownies, Sew and So 4H, working with Candy Stripers, and she worked at Parkside and Colonial Vista and several years at Accor. She sang for several years with the Cheney Sisters, entertaining for various organizations, clubs, antique shows and at the Leavenworth Autumn Leaf Festival. Cynthia's husband, David Reymond, passed away December 20, 2003.
She is survived by two very special, loving daughters, Marianne and Danielle of Wenatchee; one granddaughter, Melanie, who meant the world to her; her brother, Mike Cheney; sisters, Barb Belt of Cortez, CO, Marilynn Jaso of Mount Lake Terrace, Pam Prey of Spokane and Sandra Ordway of San Diego, CA; her parents, Troy and Lenit Cheney; and 38 nieces and nephews and their families.
Holy Rosary for Cindy will be held in St. Joseph's Winter Chapel at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, January 27, 2011. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 28, 2011, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph's Building Fund or the American Heart Association.
