Update | Family displaced after Wenatchee apartment fire

An apartment complex caught fire Thursday afternoon in Wenatchee, burning a unit in a duplex and displacing a family of three.

The Wenatchee Valley Fire Department responded to a call of smoke in the area at 3:33 p.m. on the 1100 block of Ninth Street in Wenatchee, which was soon upgraded to a structure fire, according to Chief Brian Brett.
